Sri Ananta Sayana Ramar Temple (Three Forms of Vishnu)

This ancient Vaishnava temple, said to have been built in the 14th century during the reign of Vengatapathi Nayak, is renowned for granting wellbeing, prosperity and liberation, and above all for enshrining Thirumal in three distinct forms. The Lord graces devotees standing as Sri Venugopala with Bhama and Rukmini; seated as Sri Vaikunta Vasa upon a five-hooded Adisesha; and reclining in yoga-nidra upon a seven-hooded Adisesha as Sri Ananta Sayana Ramar, the foremost specialty of this kshetram. Sri Mahalakshmi Thayar graces a separate shrine in seated form. The Venugopala, about six feet tall with four arms, bears the conch and discus in two hands and the flute in the others, the right foot gracefully bent. Rarest of all is the darshan of Sri Rama reclining with Sita Devi, with Hanuman worshipping at his feet. Once a celebrated shrine, the vast temple (30,000 sq ft with a seven-tier rajagopuram) fell largely into ruin, but was recently and devotedly renovated under the leadership of a Tamil devotee, Arumuga Bhaskara Swami, living in Germany, together with local devotees. All festivals dear to Thirumal are observed, with Vaikunta Ekadasi drawing thousands of devotees.

(🙏🏻 சிறப்புக்கள் பல பெற்ற இத்தலத்தின் பதிவுகள் சில மட்டும்; நலமும், வளமும், முக்தியும் அளித்திடும் மூன்று நிலைகள் கொண்ட திருமாலின் திருத்தலம். 14-ஆம் நூற்றாணடில், (வேங்கடபதி நாயக்கர் காலத்தில்) கட்டப்பட்டதாக அறியப்படும் இந்த பழமைமிகு வைணவ திருத்தலத்தில் நம் பெருமாள், ஸ்ரீ பாமா, ருக்மணி சமேத ஶ்ரீ வேணுகோபாலனாக நின்ற திருக்கோலத்திலும், (ஐந்து தலை கொண்ட ஆதிசேஷனுடன்) ஸ்ரீ வைகுண்ட வாஸனாக அமர்ந்த திருக்கோலத்திலும், (ஏழு தலை ஆதிசேஷன் மீது) பள்ளிகொண்ட திருக்கோலத்தில் அறிதுயில் கொண்டு *ஸ்ரீஅனந்த சயன ராமர்* என, மூன்று திருநிலைகளில் அருட்காட்சியளியப்பது தலச்சிறப்புக்களில் முதன்மையானதாகும். தனி சன்னதியில், நம் ஸ்ரீ மஹாலக்ஷ்மி தாயார் அமர்ந்த நிலையில் அழகுத் திருக்காட்சியளிக்கிறாள். சுமார் 6-அடி உயரத்தில் (நான்கு திருக்கரங்கள் உடைய கோபாலன்) இரு திருக்கரங்களில் சங்கு சக்கரம் ஏந்தி, இரு திருக்கரங்களில் புல்லாங்குழல் பற்றி, வலது திருப்பாதத்தினை சற்றே மடித்து ஒய்யாரமாக காட்சிதரும் ஸ்ரீவேணுகோபாலர் அழகு. அரிதான தோற்றமாக, (சீதாதேவி உடனிருக்க) சயன திருக்கோலத்தில் ஸ்ரீராமரின் தரிசனம் (அவரது திருவடியில் அனுமன் அருள்பாலிக்க) காணப்பேரழகு. முற்காலத்தில் சிறப்பு மிக்க ஆலயமாக போற்றப்பட்ட இத்திருத்தலம், காலப்போக்கில் கவனிப்பாரற்று பெரும்பகுதி முற்றிலும் சிதிலமடைந்துபோய்விட்ட (30,000-சதுரடியில், ஏழு நிலை ராஜகோபுரம் கொண்ட) இக்கோவிலினை, சமீபகாலத்தில் ஜெர்மன் நாட்டில் வாழும் ஆறுமுக பாஸ்கர சுவாமி எனும் தமிழர் தலைமையில், உள்ளூர் ஆன்மீக அன்பர்கள் அனைவரும் ஒன்றிணைந்து தங்களால் இயன்ற அளவு🇮🇳🙏🏻சிறப்பாக திருப்பணிகள் செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். நம் திருமாலுக்கு உகந்த அத்தனை விழாக்களும் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்படும் இத்தலத்தில், ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டாடி மகிழும் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி திருவிழா வெகு விசேஷமாம்). 🙏🏻ஓம் நமோ நாராயணாய நமக: 🇮🇳👍🏻 *பாரத நாடு* *பழம்பெரும் நாடு!* *நீரதன் புதல்வர்!* *இந்நினைவகற்றாதீர்!*
