Sthala Purāṇam
തിരുവായ്പാടി (ആയര്പാടി / ആയ്പാടി), ഉത്തര്പ്രദേശില് മഥുരയ്ക്കു സമീപം യമുനാ നദിയുടെ തീരത്തുള്ള ഇന്നത്തെ ഗോകുലത്തിലാണ്; ഇത് ശ്രീ കൃഷ്ണന് തന്റെ ബാല്യം ചെലവിട്ട ഇടയക്കുടിയാണ്. ഇവിടത്തെ മൂലവര് ദേവന് നവമോഹന കൃഷ്ണന്, ഇടയത്തലവന് നന്ദഗോപനും ഭാര്യ യശോദയും വളര്ത്തിയ ദിവ്യശിശുവായി ഇവിടെ ആരാധിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; പ്രതിഷ്ഠിതരായ Thāyār രുക്മിണിയും സത്യഭാമയും, നന്ദഗോപര് അഗ്രഗണ്യ ഭക്തനായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. Sthala Purāṇam ആയര് (ഇടയ) ജനങ്ങള്ക്കിടയില് കൃഷ്ണന്റെ ഗോപാല ലീലകളെ ഓര്മ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അക്രൂരന്റെ (അക്രൂരാര്) പ്രസിദ്ധമായ കഥയും പറയുന്നു: സത്യഭാമ കൃഷ്ണനെ കാണാന് കൊതിച്ചപ്പോള്, അക്രൂരന് അവന്റെ വേഷം ധരിച്ചു; ഇതിനാല് ഭാവിജന്മത്തില് കവി സൂര്ദാസ് (സൂര്ദാസര്) ആയി അന്ധനായി ജനിക്കാന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടു, എങ്കിലും ഭക്തിയിലൂടെ മുക്തി നേടി. യമുന ക്ഷേത്രതീര്ത്ഥമായി വിളങ്ങുന്നു; സമീപത്തെ പുരാണ ഗോകുലത്തിലെ ഒരു പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് നന്ദഗോപര്, യശോദ, ബലരാമന് എന്നിവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം തൊട്ടിലില് ശിശു കൃഷ്ണനും വാഴുന്നു. ഒരു Divya Desam ആയി, തിരുവായ്പാടി Nālāyira Divya Prabandham-ല് മൂന്ന് Āḻvār-മാരുടെ mangalāśāsanam നേടി: പെരിയാഴ്വാര്, ആണ്ടാള് (ഏക സ്ത്രീ Āḻvār), തിരുമങ്കൈ ആഴ്വാര്. അവരുടെ pāsuram-കള് ആയര്പാടി നിവാസികള് ആ ദിവ്യശിശുവിനോട് അനുഭവിച്ച ആനന്ദം, കുസൃതി, ആഴമേറിയ മാതൃസ്നേഹം, ഭക്തിസ്നേഹം എന്നിവയാല് നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; കൃഷ്ണന്റെ വെണ്ണമോഷണം, പശുക്കളെയും ഇടയരെയും രക്ഷിച്ചത്, അവന്റെ അപ്രതിരോധ്യമായ മോഹനസൗന്ദര്യം എന്നിവ ഓര്മ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു (നവമോഹന എന്ന പേരിന്റെ അര്ത്ഥം 'പുതുതായി മോഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന്' എന്നാണ്).
Mangalāśāsanam — the Āḻvār pāsurams
The Lord Navamohana Krishnan with Rukmani and Sathyabama of Thiruvaaipadi is glorified in 22 pāsurams by:
തിരുവായ്പാടി — ആയര്പാടി / ഗോകുലം (ശ്രീ നവമോഹന കൃഷ്ണ Perumāḷ ക്ഷേത്രം, മഥുരാ പ്രദേശത്ത് യമുനയുടെ തീരത്ത്) — കൃഷ്ണന്റെ ബാല്യത്തിന്റെ ഇടയ ഭവനമാണ്. ഇത് മൂന്ന് Āḻvār-മാരില് നിന്ന് mangalāśāsanam നേടി: പെരിയാഴ്വാര് (10 pāsuram), ആണ്ടാള് (5 pāsuram), തിരുമങ്കൈ ആഴ്വാര് (7 pāsuram), ആകെ ഏകദേശം 22 വരികള്. അവരുടെ കീര്ത്തനങ്ങള് ഗോകുലത്തിലെ ശിശുവും ബാലനുമായ കണ്ണനെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു — അവന്റെ ജനനം, അവന്റെ വെണ്ണമോഷണവും ഇടയ ലീലയും, ഗോവര്ദ്ധനം ഉയര്ത്തി ഇടയരെ രക്ഷിച്ചത്. Āḻvār-മാര് ഒരു നിശ്ചിത ക്ഷേത്രദേവനെ പേരെടുത്ത് പറയാതെ 'ആയര്പാടി / ഗോകുലത്തില്' കൃഷ്ണന്റെ ലീലകള് പാടുന്നതിനാല്, ഇവിടെ വരി-മുതല്-ക്ഷേത്രം വരെയുള്ള കൃത്യമായ പദാനുപദ ബന്ധം ജാഗ്രതയോടെ കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
