Sthala Mahātmyam
About fifty years old, this small temple enshrines Thirumal with his consorts on either side as Sri Venkatajalapathy Swami, appearing somewhat smaller yet exactly resembling the darshan at Tirumala, Tirupati. The Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar who also graces here is exceedingly beautiful. Devotees who are unable to journey to Tirumala to behold the Lord place their prayers before the deity of this sthalam. Situated near the Anna Nagar roundana under private management, the small Tirupati temple is kept very clean. Though modest in size and only recently established, it has become a beloved refuge for city devotees who seek the grace of the Lord of the Seven Hills close to home. Affectionately, devotees call this little Tirupati Balaji the 'Visa Perumal', and those wishing to travel abroad for studies or work worship the Vengadavan of this sthalam wholeheartedly, believing it brings good fortune. The Saturday worship, conducted for wellbeing and prosperity, is a special custom of this temple.

( இத்தலத்தில் அருள்பாலிக்கும் ஸ்ரீ லக்ஷ்மி நரசிம்மர் வெகு அழகு) (திருப்பதி) திருமலை சென்று திருமாலை காண இயலாதவர்கள், இத்தல இறைவனிடம் தங்கள் வேண்டுதலை முன் வைப்பார்களாம். (அண்ணா நகர் ரவுண்டானா அருகில், தனியார் நிர்வாகத்தின் கீழ், மிகவும் தூய்மையாக உள்ள இச்சிறு திருப்பதி திருக்கோயில் அமைந்துள்ளது) இந்த சின்ன திருப்பதி பாலாஜியை, பக்தர்கள் 'விசா பெருமாள்' என, செல்ல அழைக்கிறார்கள்.
